For the soil function evaluation with TUSEC-B we used available information about soil type, land cover, potential brownfield sites, plots with characteristic, regional soil profiles, and permanent investigation sites gained from special maps (soil information system) provided by the State office for Mining, Energy, and Geology (LBEG) of Lower Saxony (Germany).We used the soil type units of the BÜK 50 (soil overview map 1:50,000) as evaluation units and the data stored in the digital BÜK50 data base. The BÜK 50 is a soil overview map generated from secondary information (geology, topography, land use etc.) and is based on information from representative soil profiles for each map unit. In addition to information on pedology, geology, hydrogeology, and land cover, the soil information system provides derivative maps based on the BÜK 50. Therefore, additional information on leaching rates was available (Tab. 1: adapted parameters).

Für die Bodenfunktion Auswertung mit TUSEC-B verwendeten wir verfügbaren Informationen über Bodenart, Bodenbedeckung, potenzielle Brachflächen, Grundstücke mit charakteristischen, regionale Bodenprofile und permanente Untersuchungsgebiete von speziellen Karten (Bodeninformationssystem) durch den Staat Büro bereitgestellt gewonnen für Bergbau, Energie und Geologie (LBEG) Niedersachsen (Deutschland). Wir haben die Bodenart Einheiten der BÜK 50 (Boden Übersichtskarte 1:50,000) als Auswerteeinheiten und den Daten in der digitalen BÜK50 Datenbank gespeichert. Die BÜK 50 ist ein Boden-Übersichtskarte von weiterführenden Informationen (Geologie, Topographie, Landnutzung etc.) generiert und basiert auf Informationen aus repräsentativen Bodenprofilen für jede Karte Einheit. Neben Informationen über Bodenkunde, Geologie, Hydrogeologie, und Landnutzung bietet die Bodeninformationssystem derivative Karten auf dem BÜK 50. Deshalb war zusätzliche Informationen über Auslaugraten Verfügung (Tab. 1: angepassten Parametern).
