That 5600 on ebay looked nice! I have a DJ5001 which is basically the same. The 5001/5600 was the predecessor to the flagship SCM7600. It was probably the best slide mixer of it's day and was only superceded by the 7600 when Rane started closing in on the features and reliability (though not the sound) of the 5001. It lacks many of the advanced features of the 7600. However it still quite advanced by todays standards and piloted many of the things that made the 7600 famous.
