In the village of Donnerskirchen, where their ancestors started to make wine as early as 1698, the Sommer family has dedicated its life to wine making. Building upon this longstanding tradition wine maker Leo Sommer and his wife Silvane have set new standards. Feel, smell and taste the origin of their wines, deeply rooted in primary rocks on south-east facing vineyards on the hills of the Leithagebirge. Here, amidst the cherry blossom region at the Western shores of Lake Neusiedl and the favourable Pannonian climate, outstanding wines are grown.
