As you are probably aware, TE is moving to a new infrastructure platform for our SAP Logistics and Finance instance PR2 and our Supply Chain Management instance PS1. Associated with this infrastructure upgrade is the implementation of new print management software which will permit TE the flexibility to utilize new models of printers and also to better manage printed output in general

As you are probably aware, TE is moving to a new infrastructure platform for our SAP Logistics and Finance instance PR2 and our Supply Chain Management instance PS1. Refer to the attached announcement. Associated with this infrastructure upgrade is the implementation of new print management software which will permit TE the flexibility to utilize new models of printers and also to better manage printed output in general. Note that there are no changes in the printing process from an end user perspective.

We are in need of some volunteers however, to help us validate that this new print management software doesn’t adversely impact any existing processes or output. We have a team within TEIS who will be leading the effort to validate printed output on the new platform (IBM AIX, DB2). Although this team will perform a thorough test, we would like help in testing, as there are many locations, many printers, and many variations of printed output. Testing will start Monday, October 22 and will extend through November 9th. If you are willing to help in this testing effort, please contact one of the following TEIS leaders below who will provide you with the needed details.

Wir sind benötigen einige Freiwillige hingegen uns überprüfen, ob diese neue print-Management-Software negativ keine vorhandenen Prozesse oder Ausgabe beeinflussen zu helfen. Wir haben ein Team in TEIS, die die Anstrengungen zur gedruckten Ausgabe auf der neuen Plattform (IBM AIX, DB2) validieren führen wird. Obwohl dieses Team einen Intensivtest durchführen wird, möchten wir Hilfe beim Testen, da gibt es viele Orte, viele Drucker und viele Varianten der gedruckten Ausgabe. Prüfung beginnt Montag, 22. The printed output must then be trimmed to remove the portion of the paper outside these shift values.
