On the date of its entry into force, this Agreement repeals and replaces the Agreement between the European Community and the Gabonese Republic on fishing off the coast of Gabon which entered into force on 3 December 1998.

Dezember 1998 in Kraft getretene Abkommen zwischen der Europäischen Gemeinschaft und der Gabunischen Republik über die Fischerei vor der Küste Gabuns wird am Tag des Inkrafttretens des vorliegenden Abkommens aufgehoben und durch das vorliegende Abkommen ersetzt.
