Fahrzeugsitz umfassend: Seitenrahmenhalterungselemente (213), die in der Breitenrichtung des Sitzes voneinander um einen Abstand beabstandet sind; ein plattenförmiges Unterstützungsteil (30), das Seitenteile (31) aufweist; eine Mehrzahl von Metallfedern (41, 42, 43, 44) für jedes Seitenteil (31), wobei jede Metallfeder an einem Ende (41a, 42a, 43a, 44a) mit einem Seitenteil des plattenförmigen Unterstützungsteiles verbunden ist und an dem anderen Ende mit einem Seitenrahmenhalterungselement (213), um dadurch das plattenförmige Unterstützungsteil verbindend an den Seitenrahmenhalterungselementen zu halten; und ein Außenlagenteil (50), das ein Sitzkissen (511) ausbildet, ist über dem verbindend gehaltenen plattenförmigen Unterstützungsteil angeordnet, so dass das plattenförmige Unterstützungsteil das Sitzkissen bei Benutzung unterstützt und eine Rückstellkraft gegen eine Verschiebung des Kissens bereit stellt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Metallfeder (43) für jedes Seitenteil angeordnet ist, das plattenförmige Unterstützungsteil an einem Ort in der Nähe des Trochanter major einer Person auf eine solche Weise zu halten, wenn diese in dem Sitz sitzt, dass bei Benutzung: wenn keine Belastung aufgebracht wird, das andere Ende der Feder (43b), das in Eingriff mit der Seitenrahmenhalterung (213) steht, niedriger positioniert ist, als das eine Ende der Feder (43a), das mit dem plattenförmigen Unterstützungsteile (30) in Eingriff steht; wenn eine Belastung in einem vorbestimmten Umfang aufgebracht wird, die Metallfeder im Wesentlichen horizontal in einem Zustand einer geringen Dehnung verglichen mit den anderen Federn (41, 42, 43), die mit dem Seitenbereich verbunden sind, verbleibt und die aufgebrachte Belastung nicht abstützt; und wenn die aufgebrachte Belastung den vorbestimmten Umfang überschreitet, die Metallfeder dazu dient, die aufgebrachte Belastung abzustützen.
