Rheum palmatum und Rheum officinale (Medizinal-Rhabarber, Wurzel), Rhamnus frangula (Faulbaum, Rinde), Rhamnus purshiana (amerikanischer Faulbaum, Rinde), Aloe barbadensis, Aloe ferox (Curaçao- bzw. Kap-Aloe, eingedickter Saft aus Blättern), Rhamnus catharicus (Kreuzdorn, Beeren) etc., um nur einige zu nennen.
