We knew that Addo was going to be much different than our visits to Kruger and overall we were pleased with the experience. The accommodation in cottages is average. I got the impression that nobody had stayed in ours for a while though, it was a bit cob webby and dusty. It was basic, and well equipped, with a great outlook. Very hot weather and we could have done with an air conditioner but the roof fan was just about adequate. The rest camp was well set out with a supermarket/gift shop which was quite well stocked. The educational centre was good, and the game viewing area and hide was great overlooking the water hole. The restaurant was typical SAN Parks food. Nothing different or spectacular and average prices. There was a problem with the red wine store and it was really warm but they brought ice buckets and the staff were very attentive. We did an early morning drive, good guide, great sense of humour! Saw elephant, Kudu, warthog jackal etc.

Wir wussten, dass Addo viel anders sein als unsere Besuche in Kruger wollte und insgesamt wir zufrieden mit der Erfahrung waren. Die Unterkunft in Ferienhäusern ist durchschnittlich. Ich hatte den Eindruck, den niemand bei uns für eine Weile aber geblieben war, war es ein bisschen Maiskolben webby und staubig. Es war Basis "und" gut ausgestattet, mit einem großen Outlook. Sehr heißes Wetter und wir konnten mit einer Klimaanlage getan haben, aber der Dach-Lüfter war knapp ausreichend. Das Rest-Camp war gut mit einem Supermarkt/Gift-Shop niedergelegt, der ziemlich gut bestückt war. Das Bildungszentrum war gut, und das Spiel anzeigen Bereich und ausblenden war groß mit Blick auf das Wasserloch. Das Restaurant war typisch SAN Parks Essen. Nichts anders oder spektakuläre und durchschnittliche Preise. Es gab ein Problem mit dem roten Wein-Speicher und es war wirklich warm aber brachten Eis Eimer und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr aufmerksam. Wir haben ein am frühen Morgen fahren, gute Anleitung, viel Sinn für Humor! Elefanten, Kudus, Warzenschweine Schakal etc. sah.
