Wintershall (40% equity and operator) during the block application committed for the conduct of an exploration program, consisting of seismic, two multidisciplinary (MDS) studies and two exploration wells. The seismic survey and the initial MDS have been executed. The final MDS is in progress. The assessment of the prospectivity led to high risk prospects, not justifying drilling. This assessment is shared and confirmed by partnership and Qatar Petroleum (QP) evaluations. In consequence this means that the two commitment wells will not be drilled and the partnerships bank guarantees (performance guarantees for executing the technical work programs) in the total amount of 26 MM US$ (100%, 13 MM US$ per well) would become due. In effect QP will issue an invoice for the owing amount and once payment is received the guarantees will be released.

Wintershall (40 % Eigenkapital und Operator) während der Anwendung von Block verpflichtet für die Durchführung eines Explorationsprogramms bestehend aus seismischen, zwei multidisziplinäre (MDS) Studien und zwei Explorationsbohrungen. Die seismische Untersuchung und die anfängliche MDS realisiert. Die endgültige MDS ist im Gange. 
 Die Bewertung der dem Reich führte zu hohem Risiko Perspektiven, nicht zu rechtfertigen, Bohren. Diese Einschätzung ist geteilt und von Partnerschaft und Qatar Petroleum (QP) Bewertungen bestätigt. 
 In Konsequenz bedeutet dies, dass die Verpflichtung der beiden Brunnen nicht gebohrt werden werden und die Partnerschaften (Leistungsgarantien Bankbürgschaften für die technische Arbeitsprogramme ausführen) in Höhe von 26 MM US würde $ (100 %, 13 MM US$ pro Well) fällig. QP wird faktisch eine Rechnung ausstellen, für die aufgrund der Höhe und nach Eingang der Zahlung werden die Garantien freigegeben.
