The present findings are difficult to interpret without accompanying bone marrow cytologic smears.

Vorliegende Befunde sind ohne begleitende knochenmarkszytologische Ausstriche schwierig zu interpretieren.

Either prepare a smear of the ooze or the suspended tissue on a microscope slide or prepare a smear of a 48 hour culture on YPGA or SPA ( Appendix 1 ) . Prepare positive control smears of a biovar2 / race 3 strain and , if considered useful , a negative control smear of a heterologeous strain . Allow to dry . Pass the lower surface of the slide several times rapidly through the flame until the smear is fixed .

Entweder einen Ausstrich des Exsudats oder des suspendierten Gewebes auf einem Objekttraeger oder einen Ausstrich von einer 48stuendigen Kultur auf YPGA ( Anlage 1 ) zubereiten . Ausstriche fuer positive Kontrollen eines Biovar-2-Rasse-3-Stamms und bei Bedarf fuer eine negative Kontrolle eines heterologen Stammes zubereiten und trocknen lassen . Die Unterseite des Objekttraegers mehrmals schnell durch eine Flamme fuehren , bis der Ausstrich fixiert ist .
