I woke up some time later (I still have no idea how long I was out for) with a splitting headache and sore muscles. I was pretty groggy so it took almost a full minute to work out I was tied up with ropes around my wrists and ankles. The ropes themselves were silky smooth, as though they were intended for this purpose and the knots were complex but practical, I knew immediately there was no quick way out of my predicament.

Einige Zeit später wachte ich (Ich habe noch keine Ahnung, wie lange ich war für) mit aufteilen Kopfschmerzen und Muskelkater. Ich war ziemlich angeschlagen, so dauerte es fast eine ganze Minute zu erarbeiten, dass ich mit Seilen um meine Handgelenke und Knöchel gefesselt war. Die Seile sich seidig glatt, waren, als ob sie für diesen Zweck vorgesehen waren und die Knoten komplexe, aber praktisch wurden, wusste ich sofort, es gab keinen schnellen Weg aus meiner misslichen Lage.
