I am a traveling brother from California (San Leandro Lodge No. 113 - F & AM of California) visiting here on academic business in Bremen at the Max Planck Institute near the University of Bremen. I came here for three weeks in order to finish writing some manuscripts so that I can earn my doctorate. However, the Institute is not able to provide me with a contract or a stipend for my short duration here, so I am spending the little money that I have saved up from my summer job in Washington D.C.

Ich kam hier für drei Wochen, um zu Ende zu schreiben einige Manuskripte, so dass ich meinen Doktortitel verdienen kann.
