The report by Brenda Lawrence, MD, from the Center for Devices and Radiological Health, FDA, Silver Spring, Maryland, and colleagues, found that all but 1 of the 13 infants were 3 months of age or younger, and most were placed on their sides to sleep. The majority of the infants were found prone and unresponsive by caregivers, raising concerns that ISPs may contribute to the risk for sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Four of the infants had been born prematurely, and 3 were half of a pair of twins. Four of the infants had also had recent symptoms of respiratory illness, and 8 were boys.

A history of febrile convulsions, a family history of convulsions, a family history of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) and a family history of an adverse reaction following Tritanrix HepB vaccination do not constitute contra-indications.

Fieberkrämpfe in der Anamnese sowie Krampfanfälleoder plötzlicher Kindstod (SIDS) in der Familienanamnese stellen keine Kontraindikationen für die Anwendung von Infanrix hexa dar.
