Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - The Holy Father Francis on 24 May 2013, erected the new diocese of Dolisie (Republic of Congo), with territory taken from the diocese of Nkayi, making it a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Brazzaville, and appointed Rev. Bienvenu Manamika Bafouakouahou, Vicar General of the Diocese of Kinkala as the first Bishop of Dolisie.

Vatikanstadt (Fidesdienst) - Papst Franziskus hat am 24. Mai 2013 auf einem Teilgebiet der Diözese Nkayi die neue Dolisie errichtet und sie der Erzdiözese Brazzaville als Suffraganbistum unterstellt und den bisherigen Generalvikar der Diözese Kinkala, Pfarrer Bienvenu Manamika Bafouakouahou, zum ersten Bischof der neuen Diözese ernannt.

All in all 50 people are working on the implementation. Raymundo Damasceno Assis, Archbishop of Aparecida, the in Cuba in July newly elected President and the Secretary-General, Suffragan Bishop Victor Sánchez of Mexico City have the central responsibility.

Insgesamt arbeiten an der Umsetzung 50 Personen. Zentrale Verantwortliche sind der in Kuba im Juli neu gewählte Präsident, Raymundo Damasceno Assis, Erzbischof von Aparecida, und der Generalsekretär, Weihbischof Victor Sánchez von Mexiko-City.

The Bishop responsible for the Convocation is the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, the Most Reverend Katharine Jefferts Schori. Her Suffragan Bishop, who is in charge of the Convocation, is the Right Reverend Pierre W. Whalon, whose office is housed at the Cathedral in Paris and whose responsibilities also include liaison with the Church of England Diocese of Europe and other ecumenical relations, in addition to the oversight of the eight churches within the Convocation.
