“You’ll do,” he mutters sullenly, still not turning to look at me. Shit. He climbs gracefully onto the Jet Ski and holds out his hand for me to join him. Grasping it tightly, I manage to throw my leg over the seat behind him without falling into the water while Taylor and the twins clamber into the motorboat. Christian kicks the Jet Ski away from the dock, and it floats gently into the marina.

"Sie tun werde," murmelt er mürrisch, noch nicht drehen, um mich anzusehen. Scheiße.
 Er klettert anmutig auf dem Jet-Ski und hält seine Hand für mich, ihn zu begleiten. Greifen es eng, verwalte ich mein Bein über dem Sitz hinter ihm ohne ins Wasser zu fallen, während Taylor und den Zwillingen in das Motorboot Klettern zu werfen. Christian kickt den Jet-Ski von der Station entfernt und es schwebt sanft in die Marina.
