Curriculum is a crucial factor in the teaching-learning process. Specifically, it means a written plan (a degree program, a syllabus, a textbook, a learning package, a lesson)- which is a prescriptive definition. Or it may be defined comprehensively, based on Dewey`s (1916) view on education and experience, as all the experiences of the learner inside and outside the school under the guidance of the teacher-that is all encompassing.

Konkret bedeutet es einen schriftlichen Plan (ein Studiengang, ein Lehrplan, ein Lehrbuch, ein Lernpaket, eine Lektion) - das ist eine normative Definition.
