to have a majority

I feel this is extremely important and do not think we should leave a debate on minors and adoption to six o'clock this evening, when we are unlikely to have a majority befitting such an important issue.

Dies scheint mir äußerst wichtig, denn wir können nicht zulassen, daß heute nachmittag um 18.00 Uhr über Kinder und Adoption geredet wird, wenn keine angemessene Mehrheit für so ein wichtiges Thema anwesend sein wird.
