Crossing the Channel was fine. There was no wind so we had to motor but the big huge ships weren't a problem. He took me off to the harbour master, who was sitting in a nice cosy office and had high healed shoes on and lipstick. She informed me that the harbour dried out and it would cost 20 pounds to stay. But I would have to pay Rab, the security guard. He also had the code for the gate. I don't really know what she was paid for.
