Bud is still working three days a week but is talking about quitting ( just don't know when he will finally give it up). Some weeks he is making very little after he pays his rent which is the same whether he does one customer or ten a day. We have had so much rain, thanks to the two hurricanes that passed our way and a couple of tropical storms, that our canal at the cottage is so full of water that the bottom deck gets wet when boats go by (even slowly). They have opened the dam and the water is flowing so fast that I have not dared to take our my kayak for fear that I will not be able to paddle back home against the current. We joke that I should try to paddle up stream (toward the dam) and then Bud will put a rope across the canal to catch me on the way back.

Bud arbeitet noch drei Tage in der Woche, sondern über den Austritt aus (nur nicht wissen, wann er endlich aufgeben) im Gespräch.
