I'm sorry that you have to redo the first planking - it's a big hull to plank again. However, I did not have any problems with the balsa either. After the first planking in balsa, I covered the entire hull in diluted PVA glue. This closed up the soft balsa and provided a hard shell for the second planking. I went for the second planking as I wasn't confident in using the supplied cloth material instead of the second planking. Perhaps, painting directly onto the balsa caused the wood to shrink somehow, but I'm not sure. I agree with you that replacing the balsa with lime will be much better, although I think the balsa was nice to work with. I've made a lot of mistakes on my AV as well especially regarding positioning the bulkheads in the first place. This mistake seems to accumulate during the build.

Es tut mir leid, dass Sie den ersten Beplankung wiederholen müssen - es ist ein großes Rumpf Planke wieder. Allerdings habe ich keine Probleme mit dem Balsaholz nicht. Nach der ersten Beplankung in Balsa, überdachte ich die gesamte Rumpf in verdünnter Weißleim. Dies schloss die weiche Balsa und bot eine harte Schale für die zweite Beplankung. Ich ging zum zweiten Beplankung denn ich war nicht sicher im Umgang mit dem mitgelieferten Tuch Material anstelle des zweiten Beplankung. Vielleicht, Malerei direkt auf die Balsa verursacht das Holz irgendwie schrumpfen, aber ich bin mir nicht sicher. Ich stimme Ihnen zu, dass anstelle der Balsaholz mit Kalk wird viel besser, obwohl ich das Balsaholz war schön, mit zu arbeiten denken. Ich habe eine Menge Fehler auf meinem AV gemacht sowie insbesondere in Bezug auf Positionierung der Schotte in den ersten Platz. Dieser Fehler scheint im Aufbau zu akkumulieren.
