I'm currently running R9_POHD. I find it very slow compared to other images I have tried. I telnet's in and ran the "top" command. It shows that one of the DVDPlayer processes is running at 99%, even when it's not playing movies. I would have to believe that this is the cause of the slow response. Anyone know what it's doing to keep the CPU that busy? I noticed in one of the other players that there were options to turn off Movies, Music, etc. Would it be possible to do the same or more such as disabling YAMJ in the POHD image? I was poking around and found the startup script but it is read only, I believe due to the way the yaffs compressed file is mounted. I haven't yet figured out how to uncompress and recompress the yaffs2 image file so haven't been able to do my own tests. Any ideas?
