We found out that the most significant threat to our 35 priority places were 15 commodities: sugar-cane, whitefish, fish meal, shrimp trawling, paper & pulp, salmon farming, palm oil, tuna fisheries, beef, soy, sawn wood, biofuels, diary and cotton. We also found out that only 100 companies con-trolled 25% of the trade of those 15 commodities. The reason why 25% of trade is so important, is because it results in 40-50% of producers. Producers that will compete to sell into those better mar-kets. By working with those 100 companies, we can leverage almost half of global production of those 15 commodities and address those threats.

Wir fanden auch heraus, dass nur 100 Unternehmen ge-steuert 25% des Handels dieser 15 Rohstoffen. Der Grund, warum 25% des Handels ist so wichtig, weil es in 40-50% der Erzeuger führt. Produzenten, die konkurrieren, um in jene bessere Märkten verkaufen. Durch die Zusammenarbeit mit diesen 100 Unternehmen, können wir adressieren nutzen fast die Hälfte der weltweiten Produktion dieser 15 Rohstoffe und diese Bedrohungen.
