On our path to sustaining leadership in smart metering and smart grids, we continue to pursue our key business objectives across the EMEA region. In the new version of the Strategy Update Executive VP EMEA Jon Stretch outlines Landis+Gyr’s strategic directives and priority areas we need to develop in order to secure our future growth and deliver on our customer obligations. Our core priorities for 2012 lie in leveraging our offering for the AMM customers along with strengthening our position with leaders in the giant markets. We continue investing in our base business and new business opportunities in collaboration with Toshiba to enhance our profitability. All these strategic measures are required to achieve a 9% revenue increase this year but also to well position ourselves to reach the US$300 million annual growth between now and 2015.

- Bosch will continue to retain the entire battery pack and systems businesses, including components, e.g., battery management systems. - By realigning its organizational structure, Bosch sets new priorities in the battery development and production for hybrid and electric vehicles. - So Bosch continues to implement a strategy to well-position itself in the advanced battery market for hybrid and electric vehicles. Coupled with its annual investment of 400 million Euros in the field of electric mobility, the Bosch Group currently employs more than 1,100 associates in the field, including approximately 300 battery specialists at Robert Bosch Battery Systems in Germany and the US.
