Canadian born Lowell, with a literal meaning of 'Wolf Cub', is a singer based in the metropolitan city of Toronto. This young, charismatic artist, is on the cuff of a sensational career with the release of her debut EP, 'If You Can, Solve This Jumble'. Lowell has been working in the studio with Martin Terefe, Grammy award winning producer and member of the Apparatjik collective; a super group made up of Magne F (Aha), Guy Berryman (Coldplay) and Jonas Bjerre (MEW). Terefe and Lowell dueted together for Apparatjik's 'Everybody Is One Bar' project, with reworked tracks appearing on the bands’ second album, 'Square Peg In A Round Hole'. She quickly became a close musical relative and kindred spirit, with the collective noting that they all 'came from the snow'. With percussion recorded in Lowell's bedroom using pots and pans before being worked on with Apparatjik, 'Shake Him Off' is the first song from the forthcoming mini-album to see the light of day.
