Apenninhalbinsel

Zahlreiche ehemalige Lorscher Handschriften sind noch heute unter den wichtigsten Textzeugen für antike Autoren vertreten, etwa der berühmte „Vergilius Palatinus“ (BAV, Pal. lat. 1631), der im 5./6. Jh. auf der Apenninhalbinsel geschrieben worden war.

Today, numerous Lorsch manuscripts are still amongst the most important written testimonies from authors of Antiquity, as for example the famous “Vergilius Palatinus” (BAV, Pal. lat. 1631), which was written in the 5th/6th century on the Apennine peninsula.
