Auf der anderen Seite teilten einige unserer palästinensischen Gesprächspartner - die nicht alle in diesen Gebieten ansässig waren - dieses Glücksgefühl nicht und konnten uns nicht immer verständliche Gründe dafür nennen; wir hatten manchmal eher den Eindruck, daß ihre Beweggründe kaum erklärbar waren.

On the other hand, a number of the Palestinians to whom we spoke - not all of whom lived in the territories - did not share this happiness; they were not always able to give us comprehensible reasons for this, and we sometimes had the feeling that their reasons were inexplicable.
