- Der letzte Unterabsatz erhaelt folgende Fassung : _DOUBLEQUOTE_ Jeder Dateiname umfasst den aus zwei Buchstaben bestehenden Laendercode ( in der Liste mit XX dargestellt ) , das Erhebungsjahr ( z. B. 1996 ) bzw. GENER , wenn es sich um eine einmalige Angabe handelt , den Punkt ( . ) und einen aus drei Buchstaben bestehenden Code . Dieser besteht bei den Flaechendateien aus den Buchstaben PL ( oder P ) und den Buchstaben S ( Soil = Boden ) , F ( Foliage = Laub / Nadeln ) , I ( Increment = Zuwachs ) , D ( Depositionen ) , M ( Meteorologie ) , SS ( Soil Solution = Bodenloesung ) und GV ( Ground Vegetation = Bodenvegetation ) . Bei den Ergebnisdaten besteht der Code aus jeweils zwei ( oder einem ) entsprechenden Anfangsbuchstaben fuer die betreffenden Erhebungen und einem oder zwei Buchstaben zur Angabe der Verbindlichkeit ( Mandatory = obligatorisch oder Optional = fakultativ ) oder der verschiedenen Teile der Erhebungen ueber Zuwachs ( Evaluation = Auswertung ) oder Depositionen ( Air = Luft ) . _DOUBLEQUOTE_

Diese Ueberwachung umfasst laufende Erhebungen des Zustands der Baumkronen , des Bodens und der Belaubung / Benadelung , Messungen der Zuwachsveraenderungen und der Depositionsraten , meteorologische Beobachtungen , die Untersuchung der Bodenloesung sowie die Bewertung der Bodenvegetation , unter Anwendung objektiver Probenahmeverfahren und bewaehrter Analysemethoden . _DOUBLEQUOTE_

1 . Article 1 ( 2 ) is replaced by the following : _DOUBLEQUOTE_ On the permanent observation plots intensive and continuous surveillance of the forest ecosystems shall be carried out . This contains the continuous inventory on the crown condition , the inventory of soil and foliar condition and measurements on increment changes , deposition rates , meteorology , soil solution sampling and analysis and ground vegetation assessment in accordance with objective sampling methods and analysed in accordance with established methods _DOUBLEQUOTE_ .
