Es ist weiterhin bekannt, daß bei der katalytischen Dechlorierung von chlororganischen Verbindungen die Aktivität eines kohlenstoffgeträgerten Palladiumkatalysators bei längerer Behandlungsdauer nachläßt. Die bekannte Methode, daß durch Waschen mit Ammoniumhydroxid die ursprüngliche Aktivität des Katalysators wieder hergestellt werden kann, scheitert jedoch, wenn industrielle Abwässer behandelt werden sollen, die neben den chlororganischen Verbindungen auch organische und anorganische Verbindungen enthalten.
