Ich würde ganz klar sagen: Es bringt nichts, ein großes Kulturereignis zu veranstalten, bei dem alle Regierungschefs schöne Reden halten und dann in ihre Länder zurückreisen und die Budgets kürzen.

I would say very clearly that it is not enough to have a big cultural event where all the Heads of Government make beautiful speeches and then go back to their countries and cut budgets.
