In diesem Experiment sehen wir die Pflanze 'Wasserpest' (Elodea) in einem geschlossenen, mit Leitungswasser gefüllten Glasgefäß. Die Versuchsanordnung wird beleuchtet. An den Schnittstellen am Stengel treten Gasbläschen aus und sammeln sich oben im Glasgefäß. Bei der Fotosynthese entsteht ein Gas. Bei der Fotosynthese entsteht Sauerstoff. Bei der Fotosynthese wird Kohlenstoffdioxid benötigt. Ohne Licht funktioniert die Fotosynthese nicht. Fotosynthese gibt es nur mit Licht und Leitungswasser. Bei der Fotoynthese entsteht Kohlenstoffdioxid.
