Wir konnten die Programme ARIANE, RAPHAEL und KALEIDOSKOP nicht einfach beseite tun, und wir mußten scheinbar widersprüchliche Ziele in Einklang bringen.

We could not just sweep aside Ariane, Raphael and Kaleidoscope and we had to reconcile apparently contradictory aims.

Allerdings darf nicht vergessen werden, daß die Gemeinschaft über das Programm Kaleidoskop sehr wohl Orchester unterstützt, wie z.B. das" European Youth Orchestra" und das" Barockorchester der Europäischen Gemeinschaft".

Nevertheless, I want to mention the Community aid given to orchestras such as, for example, the European Youth Orchestra and the'Orquestra Barroca ', through the Kaleidoscope programme.
