130 Hektar Kiefernwald, Rundwege für Spaziergänge und Mountainbike-Touren, ein botanischer Lehrpfad, ein pädagogischer Bauernhof, Ausritte mit dem Pony, ein Imbissstand ... Und es geht noch weiter: ein kleiner Touristenzug, ein Kletterparcours (Indian Forest, Eintrittsgebühr), mit Seilbrücken! An der Straße nach Istres, entlang des Étang de Berre, macht Figuerolles sogar dem Meer Konkurrenz, das doch nur einen Katzensprung entfernt ist – was aber niemand auch nur im Geringsten bereut hätte.

A little tourist train, an acrobatics course (Indian Forest, admission charge payable), with rope bridges. On the Istres road, bordering the Etang (lagoon) de Berre, Figuerolles gives the sea – just a stone’s throw away - stiff competition, and no-one has ever regretted it.

Dort warten am nächsten Morgen die Fahrräder auf uns es geht in Richtung der Inseln. Die Fahrt verläuft an der wunderschönen Nordküste entlang, wo wir den Türisalu Glint und die alte Handelsstadt Paldiski kennen lernen wernen. Gleich in der Nähe, im urigen Kiefernwald, in romantischer Umgebung am Strand wird übernachtet.

The following morning the direction is towards the islands, cycling along the beautiful north coast, passing the Türisalu cliff and the old trading town Paldiski. After a day cycling it will be good to rest in romantic seaside accommodation under the ancient pine trees.
