Im Abschnitt zu Brohltal und Pellenz geht es um das Quellheiligtum Burgbrohl-Bad Tönisstein, das Brohltal, die Orte Kruft und Kretz, die Datierung des Tuffabbaus, die Rolle des Militärs und die bezeugten Gottheiten. Inschriften aus dem Mayener Raum stammen aus dem Vicus Mayen, dem Matronenheiligtum Kottenheim sowie aus Ochtendung, Polch, Bermel und Nickenich und erlauben Überlegungen zu Weihedenkmälern und Grabdenkmälern der Gegend, ubischen Matronen im Treverergebiet, dem Höhenheiligtum auf dem Hochsimmer, der Tempelanlage von Brachtendorf sowie den um Mayen verehrten Göttern. Bei Kobern-Gondorf handelt es sich um römische und frühchristliche Inschriften des Gräberfeldes.

Inscriptions from the Mayence area come from the vicus at Mayence, the Matronae sanctuary at Kottenheim as well as from Ochtendung, Polch, Bermel, and Nickenich, and allow thoughts on dedications and grave monuments in the area, the Ubian Matronae in the area of the Treveri, the hilltop sanctuary on Hochsimmer, the temple complex at Brachtendorf, and the gods worshipped around Mayence. At Kobern-Gondorf there are Roman and Early Christian inscriptions from the cemetery.

Dies sind drei weibliche Gottheiten, die immer nebeneinander sitzend mit großen Fruchtkörben dargestellt werden: zwei ältere Matronen tragen große, breite Hüte, während die jüngste zwischen ihnen ohne Kopfbedeckung ist.

These are three goddesses which are always represented sitting next to each other with big fruit baskets; two older matrones are wearing large, wide hats, whereas the younger one in the middle has got no headgear.
