Das Medium, welches bei dem EP2000 Prozess zuvor im Z190 bereitet wird, besteht aus 333 g/L der Aminosäure Methionin sowie 135 g/L NaOH und bringt demnach sowohl eine organische als auch eine anorganische Belastung mit und ist zum Einsatz in dieser Reinigungsvalidierung bestens geeignet. Die Leitfähigkeit dieser Lösung sowie von Verdünnungen davon wurde in einem Vorversuch ermittelt (siehe Tabelle2).
