Sehr geehrter Herr Supalek, Ihre Stellungnahmen zu den rostigen Lagerböcken können wir nicht akzeptieren, da ein Anlieferungszustand ohne Rost einen Normalzustand darstellt. Der Rostbefall an den Lagerböcken führt zu einem qualitativen Problem beim KTL Beschichten.

Auswuchs liegt vor , wenn Wurzel- oder Blattkeime mit blossem Auge deutlich zu erkennen sind . Zur Beurteilung des Auswuchsgehalts darf jedoch der allgemeine Habitus der Getreideprobe nicht ausser acht gelassen werden . Bei manchen Getreidearten , zum Beispiel bei Hartweizen , tritt - sortenmaessig bedingt - der Keimling stark hervor , so dass bei der Bewegung des Getreides die den Keimling bedeckende Schale aufbricht und Auswuchs vorgetaeuscht wird . Ein solches Korn ist nicht als Auswuchs zu bezeichnen . Auswuchs ist erst dann vorhanden , wenn am Keimling deutlich sichtbare , vom Normalzustand leicht zu unterscheidende Veraenderungen eingetreten sind .

In some kinds of cereals the germ is protuberant , e.g. in durum wheat , and the germ tegument splits when the batch of cereals is shaken . These grains resemble sprouted grains but must not be included in that group . Sprouted grains are only those where the germ has undergone clearly visible changes which make it easy to distinguish the sprouted grain from the normal grain .
