• Besonders harte Matrices, wie Getreidekörner, Maiskörner und Bohnen etc. werden entweder in einer Ultrazentrifugalmühle (mit CO2-Pellets), mit Mörser und Pistill oder einer Kaffeemühle zerkleinert. Dabei ist darauf zu achten, daß die Analysenproben während der Zerkleinerung nicht heiß werden

Zum Erreichen einer gewissen Homogenität wählt man das Sieb mit der Mindestmaschenweite, die ein Zerdrücken der Agglomerate mit der Hand oder dem Pistill zuläßt.

Im Labor wird die Gewebeprobe (mit einem Stomacher, Mixer oder Mörser und Pistill mit sterilem Sand) vollständig homogenisiert. Das Homogenat wird anschließend im ursprünglichen Transportmedium suspendiert.
