Puritanismus

Es erinnert mich an die Moralordnung, an die Hexen von Salem, an den Puritanismus Nordeuropas, dessen Verfechter jene Reformatoren sind, die alles reformieren wollen, selbst wie wir essen und trinken.

I hear: moral order, the Salem witches. I hear: the Puritanism of northern Europe, these reformers desperate to reform everything, including the way we eat and drink.
