Mit dem Einsatz von Drehstromlinearmotoren für den Antrieb der Unterbrechereinheiten sind die kinematischen Anforderungen zur Betätigung der bewegten Kontaktteile von Vakuum-Leistungsschalter wesentlich vereinfacht, da die benötigten Schubkräfte und Bewegungshübe durch die unterschiedliche Ausgestaltung der Einzelkomponenten bestimmt werden kann.
