Verhältnis von Geburten und Sterbefällen (natürlicher Saldo) relativ ausgeglichen Das Wachstum der letzten Jahre resultiert aus einer Kombination von nur geringen Sterbeüber-schüssen (Geburtendefiziten) mit Wanderungsgewinnen. Abbildung 2 zeigt die Entwicklung der Zahl der Geburten und Sterbefälle in Hannover von 1987 bis 2011 und den daraus resultieren-den Sterbeüberschuss. In jedem Jahr gab es mehr Sterbefälle als Geburten, so dass die natür-liche Bilanz kontinuierlich negativ war. Die Schere begann sich jedoch bereits seit Mitte der 1980er Jahre zu schließen, und das Jahr 2011 hatte mit einem Sterbeüberschuss von lediglich 298 Personen die günstigste Bilanz. In den letzten Jahren sind jährlich nur ca. 400 Menschen mehr gestorben als geboren wurden, während es 1987 noch fast 2.300 waren. Dies hat die po-sitive Einwohnerentwicklung Hannovers begünstigt.

Ratio of births and deaths (natural balance) relatively balanced growth of recent years is the result of a combination of little death surpluses (deficits birth) with migration gains. Figure 2 illustrates the trend in the number of births and deaths in Hanover from 1987 to 2011 and the resultant death-the surplus. In each year there were more deaths than births, so that the natu-ral balance was continuously negative. The gap began but since the mid-1980s, close to, and in 2011 had an excess mortality of only 298 people, the lowest balance. In recent years, only about 400 people annually, more died than were born, while in 1987 there were nearly 2,300. This has facilitated the development of posi-tive inhabitants of Hanover.

Die Anzahl der Konsumenten, der HIV-Infektionen und - Sterbefälle ist bei uns relativ gering, und außerdem ergibt sich aus den Statistiken, daß im Verhältnis zu anderen europäischen Ländern nur wenige Jugendliche von weichen auf harte Drogen überwechseln und daß der Gebrauch von harten Drogen sogar abnimmt.

We have a relatively small number of users and low incidence of AIDS contamination and drugs-related deaths, and the statistics show that compared with other countries in Europe, fewer young people are moving on from soft to hard drugs and that the use of hard drugs is declining.

Die Erhebung von Steuern auf schädliche Emissionen und nicht recycelbaren Abfall wird die Umweltverschmutzung und das Auftreten der daraus resultierenden endemischen Krankheiten verringern und damit auch die hohe Zahl zu früher und unnötiger Sterbefälle.

The imposition of tax on harmful emissions and non-recyclable waste will reduce environmental pollution and the endemic diseases that accompany it, and so reduce the number of premature and unnecessary deaths.

Dem Schriftwart obliegt außer dem laufenden Schriftverkehr die Fortschreibung des Bestands- und Anschriftenverzeichnisses der Familie und die alljährliche Zusammenstellung der Personenstandsänderungen (Geburten, Hochzeiten, Sterbefälle mit Lebensbildern) für die Chronikblätter.

The record keeper is, in addition to the correspondence, responsible for the updating of the family inventory and address index as well as for a yearly compilation of the personal status (births, marriages, deaths and biographies) which is published in the family bulletin.
