Das Beschneiden wird wahrend der Monaten Januar ? Marz (das hangt vom Wetter ab), also in der Zeit, in der die Belebung der Safte der Sultanine beginnt und ihr Aufstieg von der Wurzel.

Von der Bewasserung der Sultanine hangt ihre Qualitat, die Menge der Produktion und die Langlebligkeit des Weinberges ab. Die Techniken der Bewasserung werden je nach dem Klima, den Temperaturen, der Feuchtigkeit der Erde, dem Regen, den lokalen Besondersheiten, der Hohe der Produktion u.s.w. angewendet.
