So existieren Kawecos mit Overlay und dem Imprint "Fabricato Kaweco" und den für die italienischen Modelle typischen Punzen "18K.R." - was nicht etwa bedeutet, dass es sich um eine 18 karätiges Massivgold-Overlay handelt, sondern um Walzgold.

Due to this, one can find either Kaweco's with the overlay imprint "Fabricato Kaweco" or the Italian version with "18K.R." this does not mean that the used material was solid 18 carat gold, but rolled gold.
