Am 17. Dezember 1867 wurde die neue Kirche, das Gemeinschaftswerk zahlreicher estnischer, deutscher und russischer Maurer, Zimmerleute, Tischler, Glaser, Stukkateure und Maler, Hunderter freigiebiger Spender und der Gemeinde, unter Teilnahme vieler hochgestellter Gäste und einer grossen Menschenmenge eingeweiht.

The church became the fruit of the common work of many bricklayers, carpenters, joiners, glaziers, plasterers and painters of Estonian, German and Russian descent, and of hunderds of generous donators and the congregation itself, and was inaugurated on 17 December 1867, with a ceremony in which numerous guests of honour and a large crowd of townspeople took part.

Der Geschichtsschreiber Josephus Plaseller sagt über diese Quellen: "Natura in valle foro Inticae vicina aquis soteriis provocandis prodigior erat quam in aliis locis." Auf deutsch: "In dem Tal nahe dem Dorf Innichen war die Natur freigiebiger als anderswo, da sie hier Heilquellen hervorgebracht hat."

The ancient historian Josephus Plaseller says of these springs: "Natura in valle foro Inticae vicina acquis soteriis provocandis prodigior erat quam in aliis locis", i.e. "The nature in the valley near the town of San Candido (whose ancient name was first "Inthia" and then "Intica") was much richer than that of other areas thanks to the presence of healing waters".
