Agavensirup wird aus den Blättern der mexikanischen Agavenpflanze gewonnen. Er weist einen hohen Anteil an Fruchtzucker auf. Geschmacklich ist er fruchtig-würzig und auch von der sirupartigen Konsistenz mit Honig zu vergleichen. Agavendicksaft hingegen und weist eine mildere, feine Süße auf.
