Jedenfalls ist unser internationales Währungssystem von Grund auf schlecht, solange es sich auf den Dollar als Maßeinheit stützt: dies verleiht den Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika das außergewöhnliche Privileg, die internationale Währung auszugeben und sich somit teilweise der Währungsdisziplin zu entziehen, die den anderen Ländern auferlegt wird.
