Für künstlich (mutterlos) aufgezogene Tiere, meist Milchkälber, sollten die Fütterungsregimes genau abgestimmt sein, um dem Ernährungsbedarf der Tiere gerecht zu werden und - im Fall von Wiederkäuern - eine normale Pansenentwicklung zu fördern.
