17.113 Zur Entwicklung, Unterstützung und Koordinierung meereswissenschaftlicher Aktivitäten sollen die Staaten nationale wissenschaftliche und technologische ozeanographische Kommissionen oder entsprechende Gremien ausbauen oder gegebenenfalls errichten und dabei eng mit internationalen Organisationen zusammenarbeiten.

17.113. States should strengthen or establish as necessary, national scientific and technological oceanographic commissions or equivalent bodies to develop, support and coordinate marine science activities and work closely with international organizations.
