Prof. Dr. Sandra Ückert hat an der Universität Münster in Sportwissenschaft promoviert, an der Technischen Universität Dortmund in Sportwissenschaft habilitiert und ist seit 2012 in Berlin an der Hochschule für Gesundheit und Sport als Hochschullehrerin tätig. Sie war mehrere Jahre beim Deutschen Olympischen Sportbund im Geschäftsbereich Leistungssport Ressortleiterin und ist seit 2012 Mitglied des Präsidiums des Berliner Leichtathletikverbandes.

She was head of Department several years with the German Olympic Sports Federation in the competitive sports and is a member of the Presidium of the Berlin Athletic Association since 2012.
