Nehmen wir widerspruchslos hin, dass Millionen Menschen hungern, nur damit wir in umweltfreundlichen Autos herumfahren und unsere Grünflächen bewundern können?

Do we just lie down and accept the fact that we are forcing millions of people to starve, just so that we can drive around in environmentally-friendly cars and admire our green spaces?

Seit Beginn des Jahres mache ich bewusster meine Schritte um mir gegenüber authentischer zu sein. Allerdings habe ich auch den Eindruck, dass ich dies mit dem Verlust an Relaxtheit und Lockerheit bezahlen muss. Meine Toleranzgrenze für neue Aufgaben bei denen ich nicht weiß wie der „benefit“ aussieht ist kleiner geworden und ich entdecke bei mir Züge, dass ich nicht sofort loyal und integer und widerspruchslos die Aufgaben bearbeite. Dies drückt auch ein Gespräch aus, welches ich mit meinem Chef hatte. Er war sehr unbefriedigt über ein Gesprächsergebnis, welches ich Ihm vermittelt hatte. Es lag daran, dass unsere Gesprächspartner nicht willig waren uns entsprechende Informationen zur Verfügung zu stellen, welche wir dringend benötigten.

Since the beginning of the year I'm confident my steps for me to be compared to authentic. However, I also feel that I must pay with the loss of this delightfully relaxed and looseness. Schließlich und endlich bin ich nicht bereit, widerspruchslos den hervorragenden Ruf beschmutzen zu lassen, den die humanitäre Hilfe der Union dank der täglichen Arbeit weltweit genießt, die von ECHO vor Ort unter sehr schwierigen Verhältnissen und in Zusammenarbeit mit den Vereinten Nationen, dem Roten Kreuz sowie zahlreichen Nichtregierungsorganisationen, den zahllosen NRO, geleistet wird.

Finally, I am not prepared to sit back and allow the sullying of the image of excellence which the humanitarian work of the Union has acquired throughout the world, through the daily work of ECHO on the ground, in very difficult conditions and in collaboration with the United Nations, the Red Cross and a large number of non-governmental organisations.

Eine derartige Menschenverachtung dürfen wir nicht widerspruchslos hinnehmen.
