For the purpose of this Agreement "the EU" shall mean the Council of the European Union (hereafter referred to as "the Council"), the Secretary-General/High Representative and the General Secretariat of the Council, and the Commission of the European Communities (hereafter referred to as "the European Commission").

The original of this Agreement, of which the Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish and the Ukrainian languages are equally authentic, shall be deposited with the Secreatary-General of the Council of the European Union.

Die Urschrift dieses Abkommens, dessen Wortlaut in dänischer, deutscher, englischer, finnischer, französischer, griechischer, italienischer, niederländischer, portugiesischer, schwedischer, spanischer und ukrainischer Sprache gleichermaßen verbindlich ist, wird beim Generalsekretär des Rates der Europäischen Union hinterlegt.
