Among the mammal species living in Thung Yai are lar gibbon ("Hylobates lar"), various species of macaque ("Macaca") und lutung ("Trachypithecus"), tiger ("Panthera tigris"), leopard ("Panthera pardus"), clouded leopard ("Neofelis nebulosa"), sun bear ("Helarctos malayanus") and Asian black bear ("Ursus thibetanus"), Malayan tapir ("Tapirus indicus"), Asian elephant ("Elephas maximus"), gaur ("Bos gaurus"), hog deer ("Cervus porcinus"), sambar ("Rusa unicolor"), Fea's muntjac ("Muntiacus feae") und Sumatran serow ("Capricornis sumatraensis") as well as many bat species probably including Kitti's hog-nosed bat ("Craseonycteris thonglongyai").

Zu den im Gebiet lebenden Säugetieren zählen unter Anderem Weißhandgibbons ("Hylobates lar"), verschiedene Arten von Makaken ("Macaca") und Haubenlanguren ("Trachypithecus"), Tiger ("Panthera tigris"), Leoparden ("Panthera pardus"), Nebelparder ("Neofelis nebulosa"), Malaien- ("Helarctos malayanus") und Kragenbären ("Ursus thibetanus"), Schabrackentapire ("Tapirus indicus"), Asiatische Elefanten ("Elephas maximus"), Gaure ("Bos gaurus"), Schweinshirsche ("Cervus porcinus"), Sambar ("Rusa unicolor"), Tenasserim-Muntjak ("Muntiacus feae") und Südliche Serau ("Capricornis sumatraensis") sowie zahlreiche Fledermausarten.

This polyvalent antivenom, termed Neuro Polyvalent Snake Antivenom (abbreviated as NPAV) is raised against venoms of four medically important cobras and kraits in Thailand, i.e. Naja kaouthia (Thai monocellate cobra), Ophiophagus hannah (king cobra), Bungarus candidus (Malayan krait) and Bungarus fasciatus (banded krait). In this paper, we report evaluation of the cross-neutralizing potential of NPAV against heterologous venoms of common Afro- Asian cobras (Naja spp. and Ophiophagus hannah) and Asian kraits (Bungarus spp.) We also compared the efficacy of the polyvalent antivenom versus the relevant monovalent antivenom. The results will provide preliminary information as to whether the polyvalent antivenom could find therapeutic application for cobra and krait envenomations outside of Thailand, as well as contribute to the design of a broad-spectrum, Pan-Asian polyvalent antivenom [7].

Diese polyvalentes Gegengift, genannt Neuro Polyvalent Snake Gegengift (abgekürzt als NPAV) gegen Gifte von vier medizinisch wichtigen Kobras und kraits in Thailand, dh Naja kaouthia (Thai monocellate cobra), Ophiophagus hannah (King Cobra), Bungarus candidus (Malayan krait) angehoben und Bungarus fasciatus (gebändert krait). In diesem Papier haben wir Auswertung der kreuzneutralisierenden Potenzial NPAV gegen heterologe Gifte der gemeinsamen afro-asiatischen Kobras (Naja spp. Ophiophagus hannah) und asiatischen kraits berichten (Bungarus spp.) Wir haben auch die Wirksamkeit des polyvalenten Gegengift gegen Vergleich der relevante einwertige Gegengift. Die Ergebnisse werden erste Informationen darüber, ob die polyvalentes Gegengift konnte therapeutische Anwendung für Kobra und krait Vergiftungen außerhalb von Thailand, sowie einen Beitrag zur Gestaltung eines breiten Spektrums, Pan-Asian polyvalentes Gegengift [7] zu finden.
